Trust is a mechanism, not a claim
Every company selling AI says it is trustworthy. We would rather show it: figures cite the document they came from, outputs can be checked against their source, and what a feature costs to run is measured rather than assumed.
Useful before impressive
AI earns its place by removing work someone was actually doing. If a feature is interesting but changes nothing about a person’s week, it does not ship.
The person keeps control
People decide what is stored, what is shared and what is deleted — and deletion means deleted. Software that quietly accumulates leverage over the person using it is badly built, whatever it does well.
